Short, but Addictivly Fun!

You can play through in less than an hour, but it's addictive, simple, and has a cool arcade feel to it.

Pretty awesome

The gameplay is a pretty good match up for "Guitar Hero"-based flash game. The downside to the gameplay is that there's no reason to the notes. Games like Guitar Hero, though dumbed down to only 5 keys on a controller, have note systems based on moving up and down the scale. Apparently the programmer who made the songs for this game doesn't play an instrument. As a musician myself, I hold rhythm games like these in great respect. Aside from the randomness of he notes, the game is fun.

Gameplay: 8/10

Graphics: 8/10

Music/Sound: 8/10

Fantastic!

Brings back the Pre-Guitar-Hero-days of games like "Frequency" and "Amplitude" (Minus the frustration of landing every note perfectly).

Gameplay: 7/10 Simple, but fun.

Animation: 9/10 Great "3D" FX.

Sound/Music: 10/10 Awesome track list.

Stunning!

Although I can't give credit to the game's creator for the music, it is incredible and contributes well to the game. The graphics are simple but stunning. The gameplay isn't much of anything special. After all, don't most music games have some sort of note or beat matching challenge to them? Simple as it is, I'm sure the full version would make listening to your mp3s more fun.

Gameplay: 5/10 Nothing too special, but still pretty fun.

Animation: 8/10 Captivating particle effects.

Sound/Music: 10/10 Beautiful choice of song.

Classic Arcade FPS!

This game brings back fond memories of arcade games like "Mad Dog McCree" and "Lethal Enforcers". The animation is clever enough to hold your attention longer than gameplay on most simple target shooters would. Extra points for the surprise ending (EXTERMINATE!!).

Gameplay: 6/10 Fairly slow-paced and mundane for a shooter, but clever.

Animation: 9/10 Really good visual stuff for a game of this type.

Sound/Music: 8/10 Fun oldschool action-music. Great SFX.

Thanks for the review,
The gameplay was made up as I went along so I totally agree with that score, I guess I was aiming to make this type of thing actually work.

Animation, I have years of experience in stop motion. However I had to limit myself on the amount of frames I could make, so not as smooth or as real as I would have liked to, Killego 2 should change that.

Sound, This was rushed, I had a deadline for this. So I used the best music I could find from FlashKit.com, it didn't turn out that bad overall. Although I hope to have custom music/sound effects for the next game.

Made using an eyetoy, only light was from the ceiling lights and all filmed on one square piece of land(made of Lego). :D

Best think-fast game since "Wario Ware Inc."!

The only reason I don't give it a perfect ten is because one can always do better, and very few games cross the bar into that "Perfect" catagory.

However, this game uses the old arcade game formula; Fun + Easy to Learn + Addictive. That's just fine, considdering that the game borrows almost all its mini-games from classic arcade hits.

Gameplay: 8/10 Unoriginal, but very fun and well done.

Music/Sound: 7/10

Graphics: 9/10 Retro Arcade + Shiny effects = Professionally Appealing!

Most complex Flash game ever?

It's quite possible that this is the most complex Flash game ever, or at least here on NewGrounds. What an incredible experience, and made by the creator of my favorite NewGrounds series "BLOCKHEAD" besides! :D

Closest to Portal that 2D can offer!

A few very small bugs, but no more than the real Portal has. This game is one of the most fun and complex flash games I've ever seen. Absolutely top shelf! :)

Great Puzzle Game... but bad glitch

This game is fun, brain-teasing and addictive as any good puzzle game should be.
However, after reaching the levels where the two-colored blocks start to appear, one of my blocks got stuck in an un-alligned spot that could neither be matched out, or pushed, this cost me the game. It was clearly a glitch. Hopefully it's easily fixable, because this game is very fun.

RedRail responds:

Thanks for the kind words.
I thought I have purged all bugs, but indeed, one of the recent fixes must have created a bug elsewhere. I'll try to fix it as fast as I can.
