5 Game Reviews w/ Response

You get a 4 for a nice selection of puzzles, but Puzzle 7's lack of feedback makes it far more difficult than the others. I understand the instructions, but according to the other comments, there are multiple solutions but only one accepted. In a game this difficult, that's an issue.
Otherwise, great concept.

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

There shouldn't be multiple solutions since the update, and if there was it'd be really handy to see a screenshot. The pair of us would like to have some feedback involved, with lights between the tiles, but SirNightOwl made me aware that there was already a lot of code going on in that puzzle anyway.

Thanks for the review though!

I like it a lot, but that Hot Sand in level 23 is a little too unforgiving. Why have a "Hot" meter if you have less than half a second to react?

whileworking responds:

Well, it's hot sand and you're a guy full o' gas. That's the deal ;)

*SPOILER* : It's not that hard tho, see below.

Short but Beautiful!
This is one of those little "Friendship is Magic" type of surprises: Something childish and cute, but tasteful and very well done, suitable for any age. The music and graphic environment are most appealing and pull you into this felt-stitched fantasy world. The only reason I didn't give the game a full 5 stars is because of how short the game experience is. Never the less, a brilliant little gem.

Jimp responds:

Thanks a lot dude, thats exactly what we were going for :)

Classic Arcade FPS!

This game brings back fond memories of arcade games like "Mad Dog McCree" and "Lethal Enforcers". The animation is clever enough to hold your attention longer than gameplay on most simple target shooters would. Extra points for the surprise ending (EXTERMINATE!!).

Gameplay: 6/10 Fairly slow-paced and mundane for a shooter, but clever.

Animation: 9/10 Really good visual stuff for a game of this type.

Sound/Music: 8/10 Fun oldschool action-music. Great SFX.

xLite responds:

Thanks for the review,
The gameplay was made up as I went along so I totally agree with that score, I guess I was aiming to make this type of thing actually work.

Animation, I have years of experience in stop motion. However I had to limit myself on the amount of frames I could make, so not as smooth or as real as I would have liked to, Killego 2 should change that.

Sound, This was rushed, I had a deadline for this. So I used the best music I could find from FlashKit.com, it didn't turn out that bad overall. Although I hope to have custom music/sound effects for the next game.

Made using an eyetoy, only light was from the ceiling lights and all filmed on one square piece of land(made of Lego). :D

Great Puzzle Game... but bad glitch

This game is fun, brain-teasing and addictive as any good puzzle game should be.
However, after reaching the levels where the two-colored blocks start to appear, one of my blocks got stuck in an un-alligned spot that could neither be matched out, or pushed, this cost me the game. It was clearly a glitch. Hopefully it's easily fixable, because this game is very fun.

RedRail responds:

Thanks for the kind words.
I thought I have purged all bugs, but indeed, one of the recent fixes must have created a bug elsewhere. I'll try to fix it as fast as I can.
